Tulsans go to Washington to participate in new STEM initiative

STEM leaders from Tulsa were in Washington, D.C., this week to participate in the launch of a new STEM initiative that seeks to expand effective science, technology, engineering and math learning opportunities for students across the country.

The Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance was one of 27 groups to be chosen to launch the STEM Ecosystems Initiative, a project of the national STEM Funders Network.

Students build, fly quadcopters during summer camp
