Reinvigorated Thinking for Our City and Region

The Best Thinking Forum, modeled after the Aspen Institute, provides a safe, calm harbor for civil and deliberative dialogue in order to timely confront the pressing issues of the day. Over a period of several years, the discussions of regionalization and the change in demographics of the region have been in the forefront of some of the challenges facing our citizenry.

The Best Thinking Forum has been asked to collaborate with the regional community for a discussion of best thinking on a regional and national basis. Bringing together leaders in business, education, philanthropic foundations, government, religious and social service agencies for a rational and civil discourse on our future. All of these key leaders will be a part of this significant undertaking while our speakers will come from the battle lines of achievement of this type of dream.

The Oklahoma Innovation Institute is pleased to work closely with Tulsa Community College, Tulsa Regional Chamber, Community Service Council, and Tulsa’s Young Professionals in this exciting project.

Past forums have been attended by hundreds, including community leaders, and have facilitated candid discussions on the changed demographics of the Tulsa region, progress of our regional communities, challenges we face in the future, and the collective action needed to continue our success.
